Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition and Kona 2: Brume Are Coming to Game Pass in May

Tomb Raider Definitive Edition Game Pass May 2024

Microsoft revealed today the first four new games that will be added to the Game Pass library in May. Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition will be joining Rise of the Tomb Raider and Shadow of the Tomb Raider on May 2, which means the full Tomb Raider trilogy will soon be available on Game Pass.

Kona II: Brume will also be added to the Game Pass library on May 7, and it will be followed by Little Kitty, Big City on May 9 (a day one addition to the library). Lastly, Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons is coming on May 14, though please note that this is the original 2013 game and not the remake released earlier this year on PC and current-gen consoles.

In case you missed it last week, Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, the sequel to Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order is now available with Xbox Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass via the EA Play library. The game was only released on PC and current-gen consoles, but Xbox One and PS4 versions are currently in development.

Lastly, Microsoft announced that 8 games will leave the Game Pass library on May 15. The list includes: Eastern Exorcist, Eiyuden Chronicle Rising, Ghostlore, Just Cause 4 Reloaded, and SD Gundam Battle Alliance.

May is likely going to be a big month for Game Pass as Senua’s Saga: Hellblade 2, the much-anticipated sequel to Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice will drop on day one on May 21. While this isn’t a blockbuster AAA title like Starfield was, Hellblade 2 promises to be one of the best-looking game on Xbox Series X|S consoles. And you may remember that this was actually the game Microsoft picked up to announce its Series X console during The Game Awards 2019 ceremony.
