Brave Leo Now Integrates with Live Data from Brave Search

Boston Celtics are up 3-0 in the NBA Finals

Brave announced today that it has updated Leo, its in-browser AI assistant, to incorporate real-time Brave Search results.

“With today’s release, Leo can incorporate search-augmented responses into its answers, powered by the Brave Search API,” the announcement post notes. “This new integration allows Leo to provide more accurate and up-to-date answers, especially for queries related to current events or topics where the initial language model training may be outdated or lack full context.”

According to Brave, Brave Search integration with Leo means you can incorporate real-time information into your AI chats. This can include information about concerns, sporting events, and other upcoming events, financial data, and so on. Any results that incorporate search results are clearly labeled, and they link to the sources, Brave notes, so you can fact-check as needed. And as always, all chats with Leo and private and secure.

This update arrives as part of Brave 1.67 for desktop, which is now available. And it will come to the mobile versions of Brave soon, the company says.
