Will X Elite fail to impress mainstream, as mainstream doesn’t like or care about windows.

Here’s Tom’s Hardware. He brings up a good point. Here comes yet another round of bad press for Windows.

Once again a spotlight is on Windows 11. I am wondering as a prior mainstream casual user if I’d be expecting these new Copilot + PCs to be a new experience, a new Windows for sure, a new Windows “built from the ground up”

I watched many reviews today, and Windows 11 was never mentioned. 

Would a mainstream user, likely with a 4-5-year-old laptop, likely on Windows 10 be expecting their new AI laptop as Windows 11 with a few new AI trinkets with more nags and ads?
