Snapdragon X Elite/Plus and eco systems

So my question is do you think Snapdragon X Elite/Plus chips will improve the windows desktop/laptop and android mobile eco system experience? Is it going to be just more Windows but now on a different chipset with the same mobile eco system problems, or will this change herald new options for desktop/laptop windows users and android handsets in general.

Clearly Samsung, Xiaomi will pioneer their eco system product offering – i’m focussing on the ordinary bod who buys a Lenovo, Surface, HP, Dell etc and chooses to buy an XYZ 3rd party android handset.

Clearly Pixels and Chromebooks should benefit, although whether a chromebook needs this chip is debateable. So what do you think? Sure there’s always the argument “everythings possible” but I do wonder if alot of people are thinking, hey windows on ARM’s a thing now and i will buy into it as my android handset will work like MacOS/iOS does etc etc.

All thoughts and suggestions and maybe answers most welcome.
