Battlefield 6 headlines the first wave of new Game Pass additions for October, which will also bring seven new games to the library on day one. EA’s latest Battlefield entry was the best-selling PC/console game of 2025 after Call of Duty misfired with Black Ops 7. Anyway, it’s now time for the game to join the EA Play library, which is available with Xbox Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass.
Except for Battlefield 6 and Neon Abyss 2, seven games will also launch on Game Pass on day one in October. The list includes Echo Weaver, Forever Ago, Deep Dish Dungeon, Valor Mortis, Bluey’s Happy Snaps, Chained Beast, and Beyond These Stars.
Unfortunately, Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, the winner of several GOTY awards, will leave the Game Pass library on October 15. Other games leaving the Game Pass library on that same date include A Plague Tale: Requiem, Evil West, Crime Scene Cleaner, Pacific Drive, Donut County, Nova Roma, Superball, and The Casting of Frank Stone.
In case you missed it, Minecraft Dungeons II and Gears of War: E-Day recently landed on Game Pass, and the latter is one of the biggest game releases of the year from Xbox Game Studios following Forza Horizon 6 and Halo: Campaign Evolved. The latter also marks Xbox’s limited return to exclusives, as the much-anticipated Fable from Playground Games will still ship on PlayStation 5.
